Registered Nurse- Cardiac Cath Lab will provide direct patient care to patients. Communicate with the physicians to ensure patient safety during procedures. RN will practice within the Wyoming Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association professional standards.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and delegate unit and patient care activities, as appropriate, to other health care providers.
Requires on-call status including weekends and holidays.
Integrate departmental goals for improvement
Work with the Cardiovascular Service Line Team
Collaborate, assess and plan with other departments
Ensure excellent inpatient and family care
Qualifications
Current state of Wyoming or compact License
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Must have Cath experience-
Current CPR and ACLS issued through American Heart Association
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a license to practice nursing in the state required
- 1 year Cath Lab/EP Lab, Interventional Radiology, ICU, or Emergency Care experience
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
The ideal candidate will display compassion, education, proficiency and experience while assisting the patient. This critical role assists in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.
