NurseNow Staffing LTD. is looking for an Experienced Home Health Care Registered Nurse in the Santa Clarita, NC area for an upcoming, ongoing clinical trial.
The sponsor, Parexel, on behalf of UCB, is conducting a trial entitled “A Randmomized, Open-Label Extension Study to investigate the long-term safety, tolerability and efficacy of a drug in adult patients with Generalized Myasthenia Gravis.“
***The nurse will be required to travel to the site/pharmacy in LA to pick up the study drug medication. Below is the site pharmacy location:

We are requesting an RN with subQ IV infusion experience, available during normal business hours and who is able to travel to the site prior to the home visit. The nurse activities include, Withdrawal criteria review, vital signs, study drug preparation and administration, Post-Dose Observation, and check for hospitalizations, changes in health, changes in medical procedures, and/or changes in medications. Estimated visit length is 1.75 hour which includes 1 hour at the site.

We are seeking two Registered Nurses (RN) 1 primary and 1 back-up.
Requirements:
- Highly skilled in Phlebotomy, (2-3 years preferred)
- Phlebotomy Experience within the last year
- Home Health Care Experience (2-3 years preferred)
- Home Health Experience within the last year
- Ability to travel 50 to 100 miles (Mileage Reimbursed)
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Current (RN) Licensure in Pennsylvania
- No Board Action of Licensure
- We require full background checks before employment
- Full time Availability to conduct visits within a twenty-four hour period
These Requirements are Non-Negotiable
Nurses are required to complete:
- Collection of vital signs,
- Assessments in health,
- Safety labs,
- Study drug accountability
- Dispensing and collection and processing of lab samples.
- Specimen Collection
- Centrifuge processing
- Documentation of clinical interactions
- Schedule Courier Service for specimen transfer
Supplies are shipped directly to your address. Training is paid for the full hourly rate. Two hours of training will be scheduled with the Vendor or Clinical Research Organization in Preparation for the visit.
If you are selected as a Pre-Conditional Hire:
- NurseNow will Require a Curriculum Vitae (CV) to be completed with qualifying information to include licensure number and Clinical skills, Educational Background Returned within 24 hours to be considered as this is a time sensitive position.
- Onboarding will be sent to the Nurse after the Completion of the CV.
- Onboarding must be completed within 24 hours, to include background check and employment verification
- Information will be sent to the clinical research organization that NurseNow has partnered with for review by the study managers.
- Study managers will conduct an interview with the Registered Nurse (RN) to determine suitability for the study-
- If the study managers approve and are willing to move forward, NurseNow will be informed and the onboarding process will begin.
Pay Rate: $42.00-$47.00 hourly
Travel Time commuting to the visit location and from the location is reimbursed. Mileage is reimbursed at .58 cents a mile.
NurseNow Reserves the right to Terminate the Employment Process at any time
If the candidate does not reply to NurseNow after three requests within a twenty four hour period employment will be terminated.
