Residential Counselor – Merakey – Rutledge, PA

Merakey is seeking a Residential Counselor to work within the Behavioral Health division, in Delaware county, PA.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is a residential counselor position at a moderate care CRR. The residential counselor will be responsible for teaching life skills to adults living with mental illness which may include but is not limited to running skills groups, supporting individuals learn how to clean, cook, manage medication, assist the resident to appointments and outings along with completing documentation including service plans, assessments, progress notes and incident reports. This position works with individuals to become as independent as possible using the recovery model. We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual who is looking to promote hope, health and wellness and is willing to be an active support in people’s recovery process.
