We are currently seeking a full-time VP/Director of Engineering interested in joining a growth stage startup.
Above all, we are seeking an engineering leader who will be a player-coach with extensive startup experience, preferably from inception to maturity. You will be actively coding and exceptional at motivating, managing, and assembling a world-class engineering team. We are seeking a self-starter who is resourceful, organized, detail-oriented, communicative, and friendly.
As part of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering new products and features across multiple domains and technologies. The ability to be decisive with architecture and making strategic product decisions, as well as critically thinking about and advocating for product enhancements and optimizations is a must. You will be working with the following technologies: Typescript, Node.js, Angular, Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Message Queues, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GCP/AWS and have flexibility to shape our stack.
Candidates must be located in the Los Angeles area. While the role will start out as remote, there is a possibility that, when it is safe to do so, the team will resume attendance at our headquarters in the Los Angeles area. Ample advance notice will also be given.
