Respiratory Therapist – Warehouse Setting – Lincare – Largo, FL

This position is in an Air-conditioned Warehouse setting. Jeans and sneakers are allowed.

This position allows a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to support patients outside the hospital educating patients in the use of equipment without the stress that is involved with clinical settings.

This position will work both in the office explaining how to use respiratory equipment and occasionally outside of the office. The RT will work closely with referring physicians, hospital personnel, and other clinicians to ensure the proper equipment is being set up and sent to them. The position involves equipment set-ups for ventilators, monitors, CPAP units, and other respiratory services in patients’ homes. They will also provide patient education as an intricate part of their care and needs while performing complete and professional assessments.

Requirements:

License based upon state that allows the practice of medical procedures (RRT/CRT)
Willingness to use personal vehicle for business with valid driver’s license and clean record
Valid state driver licenses
Solid knowledge and ability to follow applicable policies and procedures of the Safety & Regulatory rules regarding General Safety, OSHA, DOT, FDA, and Emergency Planning
Exceptional human relations skills to interface with doctors, patients, and a wide variety of customers
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate commitment to providing exceptional service to our patients
Ability to work on an independent basis with minimal supervision
