Job Summary

Develop and oversee a comprehensive business development strategy and roadmap based on market research and close collaboration with leadership directives and content teams for current and upcoming developments.

Job Responsibilities

Strategically identify needs and drive partnerships through the following stages conception, research, partner selection, negotiation, contract, and relationship management and growth. Deliver a coherent, strategic partnership plan. Research and analyze new or evolving markets, leveraging strong quantitative analytical skills.

Construct models in support of new business, including opportunities for retail offices and healthcare related facility development. Define, track and improve key business development metrics for new facility development. Serve as point-person for business development and partnership activities to monitor progress and timelines, ensure inclusion of key stakeholders, and maintain high-quality service.

Provide regular reviews of development plans with milestone metrics and progress tracking to leadership. Effectively and efficiently, provide leadership and vision in the improvement and development of existing and new facilities and programs. Implement and direct department promotional and retention strategies for new and existing programs.

Responsible for providing administrative leadership within the designated focus area across all aspects of business maintenance and growth. Manages the business development responsibilities related to human resources, budget and finance, short and long-term planning, legal and regulatory compliance. Responsible for the maintenance and growth of both revenue generating and non-revenue partnerships throughout the community and region.

Manages the business development budget and provides strategic planning leadership to business growth. Seeks appropriate marketing assistance to achieve objectives and goals. Lead business development arm to realize the strategic goals set by executive vice president and administrative leaders. Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in business, physical education, sales and marketing or related field, or minimum 5 years related experience.
  • Minimum three years experience in directing and promotion.
  • Prefer Health Care Administration degree.
  • Location will determine experience required.
  • Must be able to speak and write English and be able to articulate clearly and audibly.
  • Financial understanding, general understanding of reimbursement and business application of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal with conflict and embrace diversity in the workplace.
  • Understanding of state and federal regulations and/or statutes.
  • Able to analyze and interpret general business applications, legal documents, professional journals and technical procedures.
