Auburn Career Center is currently seeking a part-time State Tested Nursing Assistants Instructor to provide quality instruction to students by ensuring student satisfaction through the classroom and lab settings in alignment with to the program objectives.
- Participates in school retention initiatives by providing regular, accurate, and timely feedback to students and Auburn concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.
- Motivates students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process.
- Instructs students in laboratory and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintains expertise in subject area and recommends improvements in curriculum design and delivery.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to obtain Ohio Department of Education Adult Permit as a STNA Instructor field code 070000 (Health Occupations)
- Registered Nurse certification with current active Ohio Licensure
- Train-the-Trainer certification approved by the Ohio Department of Health
- Minimum 3200 hours of Registered Nurse experience, and a minimum of two years experience in chronic care nursing.
- Must be able to communicate well and work collaboratively; teaching experience desirable.
- Access to transportation allowing travel to multi-site locations.
