Our Resource teachers work to:
- Meet the individual needs of the children
- Participate in staff and training meetings
- Appropriately manage time to complete various tasks throughout the day
- Interact with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
- Present expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
- Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
- Build teamwork
Resource Teacher Qualifications:
- Degree in Education, Family Studies, Psychology or related
- Prior childcare experience
- Demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong communication skills for communication with parents, children, & other Faculty members
