MEDICAL ASSISTANT
MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN AN INTERNAL MEDICINE, PRIMARY CARE OR SPECIALIST OFFICE
WE ARE SEARCHING FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANT WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH INTERNAL MEDICINE DIAGNOSIS, MEDICATIONS, EKG’S, SPIROMETRY AND VENIPUNTURE.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: TRIAGE PATIENTS ON PHONE AND IN PERSON, TAKE VITAL SIGNS, REVIEW PREVENTIVE HEALTH MEASURES, HEDIS AND COMMUNICATE PHYSICIAN MEDICAL ORDERS. PROVIDE LAB RESULTS AND MEDICATION DIRECTIONS. COORDINATE MEDICAL CARE. REVIEW AND UPDATE MEDICATIONS IN EMR, FOLLOW UP FOR PATIENT MEDICATION ADHEARANCE, REQUEST SPECIALISTS REPORTS. ASSIST REFERRAL COORDINATOR.
EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH HUMANA OR OTHER MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLANS WILL BE HIGHLY REGARDED.
TELEMEDICINE DURING COVID PANDEMIC AND IN OFFICE PATIENT VISITS ARE SCHEDULED. PPE IS SUPPLIED.
CLEAR COMMUNICATION IN ENGLISH IS REQUIRED. A SECOND LANGUAGE IS ALWAYS HELPFUL.
EMR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. WE USE EClinicalWorks, EcW.
