PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring marketing campaigns supporting Capriotti’s are deployed, communicated, and measured successfully.
Marketing project management responsibilities range from local shop marketing and public relations to in shop upsell and cross-sell point of sale, and digital advertising.
New shop launches will be an important part of this job role. This position will be responsible for setting up a shop for success with the setup of accounts, project management associated with shop marketing campaigns, training, and new Franchise Partner support.
This role requires strategic thinking, strong attention to detail, a strong sense of creativity, and extreme comfort working in a cross-functional team setting. We are looking for a hands-on and inspirational contributor who can motivate others.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work hand in hand with the Marketing leadership team and Franchise Partner ad councils on the development and deployment of regional marketing campaigns
Complete data analysis on marketing initiatives including tracking and analyzing sales and financial information, developing conclusions, and preparing reports of findings.
Marketing operations tasks associated with creative tracking and trafficking
Manage campaign communication ensuring Capriottis Franchise Partners are informed of campaign dates and creative
Budget and invoice tracking for all CoOps
Coordinate the systemwide artwork update required for menu changes at Capriottis
Coordinate systemwide price updates so all Franchise Partners transition to updated pricing effectively
Project Management oversight of all in-store, local store marketing and print-production projects as well as distribution
Project Management oversight of all uniform projects and vendor management
Manage New Restaurant Opening plans plan all pre-opening events and schedule follow up assessment for marketing at 30-45 days after open and develop a post-open marketing plan.
Supporting shops setting up their digital footprint including 3rd party marketplace accounts and directory listings
Ensure marketing campaigns are set up and communicated to Franchise Partners
Create a scorecard for communicating results
Oversee the development of Capriottis local store marketing content and resource library for Franchise Partners
Support Capriottis Public Relations initiatives by project managing PR initiatives
Keeping team updated on status of all projects (timing & budget)
Communicating with internal team and outside agencies/partners to ensure that all internal timelines are met and that projects stay within budget
Support all levels of the restaurant operations team, fielding emails, phone calls, attending area/region meetings and acting as the marketing liaison between our Franchise Partners, agencies, vendor partners and the internal Capriottis team
Ability to learn and provide Tier 1 problem solving of external requests/questions (escalating when necessary), specific to digital and IT functions
Other duties as assigned by Manager.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Strong analytical skills including extensive experience with site tools like Google Analytics
Prior experience working in Marketing Automation Platforms
Ability to travel for shop openings (about 1x per month, depending on opening schedule)
Proven experience as Marketing executive with technology experience
