  • Hourly rate: FT $13 starting.
  • Hours: M-F 8AM – 6PM approximately
  • Location: Candidate will be based in New Braunfels however; there may be an occasional week in our San Marcos office.

Minimum skills & requirements:

  • Customer service oriented with a big smile
  • Team oriented and a multi-tasker
  • Answer busy inbound calls scheduling appointments, taking messages, and routing calls to medical staff
  • Handle new and existing patient registration
  • Insurance verification
  • Payment collection
  • Medical records
  • Chart preparation and other office duty tasks as assigned

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Answering Phones
  • Collecting initial Client Information
  • Coordinating with Billing Department
  • Scheduling Client Appointments
  • Reminder Calls to Clients
  • Creating Charts for New Clients
  • Welcoming clients to practice
  • Other duties/projects as assigned by Office Manager

Preferred

  • MediSoft medical billing software,
  • Practice Fusion EMR software
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, SharePoint

Education/Experience:

  • To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role and must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed.
  • Bilingual and Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus.
