Bi-Lingual Medical Screener – Blue Ridge Community Health Services – Hendersonville, NC

Blue Ridge Health is seeking a Bi-Lingual, Medical Screener in Hendersonville, NC. This position is designed to assist staff with performing patient screening before entering the work location.

This is a temporary position with an unknown duration. Full-time, and part-time positions available. The Medical Screener is an unlicensed medical role specifically operating within the protocols established for screening patients for possible infection utilizing individual questionnaires, temperature checks, and general appearance according to the screening protocols.

Primary Accountability:
Interacting with patients and personnel entering the clinic,
Administering and interpreting the temperature of patients using contactless thermometers according to company instruction and CDC guidance for personal protection.
Reporting cases of positive and negative responses according to established protocols while remaining cognizant of appropriate reporting requirements
Communicate results of screening checks with appropriate staff,
Utilize PPE as required within the protocol for performing medical screening

Professional and Technical Knowledge:
High school Diploma or equivalent.
Basic medical terminology.
Bilingual preferred

Physical Demands:
