Product Owner – Clinical Analytics (International Markets)

*Role Summary* Cigna’s International Markets Data & Analytics team is dedicated to delivering analytic products that enable data-driven decision making, improve business processes and deliver value to our internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate that value. The Clinical Analytics Product Owner will be responsible for shaping an analytic strategy with business partners, translating that strategy to delivery teams, as well as being accountable for delivery of all analytics solutions related to clinical analytics across Cigna International Markets. The ideal candidate will work to deliver a range of analytics products from data visualization to predictive analytics solutions, that support our clinical teams’ need to scale insights delivery rapidly and effectively. The product owner will create the roadmap of analytics products for their domain and understand the business impact and priority of their domain’s analytic solutions and have the data experience that allows them to find, design, build better solutions and drive the delivery of the creation of analytics products in an extensible manner for deployment across multiple countries and regions..*Responsibilities* + Influences strategic direction of clinical solutions and their value delivery value across external and internal transformational projects; understands key business objectives and strategy of the products + Evolve the way the business thinks about analytics and show how analytics can create substantial value for our customers and clients by showcasing the value creation + Build and design solutions that can be leveraged by multiple markets and business units + Work with the business to ensure the adoption of your product and solutions across the business + Works with business owners to ensure that they are engaged and supportive of direction + Collaborates with Product Managers to ensure their prioritization is reflected in the team’s backlog + Has final decision-making authority on acceptance criteria for product functions + Maintains and refines the inflow of work to the team (product backlog): + ? Assists the team with decomposing features into user stories and acceptance criteria + Assesses business value and prioritized all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value and aligns with strategy + Ensures stories clearly communicate customer/stakeholder needs to the Scrum team; work with team to clarify stories as necessary + Understands and supports inter-team dependencies and escalates prioritization issues when necessary + Sets and communicates the team’s scope for the current iteration + Actively participates in program ceremonies (eg Daily Stand-up, Iteration Planning, Iteration Review, PI Planning) + Works with team members to ensure products are working in production.*Qualifications* + 5+ years’ experience in a product owner role + 3+ years’ experience with data management, data governance and/or data quality in a data management organization preferably within a clinical or healthcare environment + Sound understanding of agile methodology, processes and best practices in an end-to-end product delivery environment + Experience overseeing and creating roadmap strategy & definition + Experience creating roadmaps, and translating solutions into detailed user stories and managing a story backlog + Previous experience with Agile Central or comparable agile management tools + SAFe Agile Certification preferred.*About Cigna* Cigna Corporation (NYSE: CI) is a global health service company dedicated to improving the health, well-being and peace of mind of those we serve.
