House Supervisor Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing Services, the House RN Supervisor oversees the team during non-business hours and performs a variety of resident care functions and closely observes residents for changes in medical status. This position also uses independent judgment and discretion in maintaining the delivery of quality resident care by assuring that the nursing and medical care plan is followed and in supervisory decisions.
Education and Licensure:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of California
- Current CPR certification
- IV Certification
- Long-Term care experience
- Knowledge of departmental regulations and policies
- Management and Leadership experience demonstrated in previous positions held
- ACLS Certification is preferred
- Basic computer skills
