Well established solo plastic surgery practice in Arrowhead Ranch, Glendale AZ area looking for experienced, talented, medical assistant to float between front and back office. We perform the full spectrum of cosmetic surgery ( face, breast, body), injectables, and skin care, . Competitive salary and benefits. Minimum of 3-5 years of surgery back office experience required for consideration. Successful applicant will have the following skill set: Personable, stable self-starter, reliable, willing to learn, excellent references, works well with team and helps where necessary. Takes initiative to solve problems. Must have good technical skills/sterile technique to assist with in office procedures, skilled at data entry, spelling, and working in EMR system. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: rooming patients, vital signs, medical history entry, faxing orders / other documents to outside facilities, sterilization, sterile tray set up and assisting with in-office procedures, document management for patients having procedures in EMR ( diagnostic studies, outside correspondence, prescriptions, etc.), maintaining back office in a clean professional fashion, ordering supplies /maintaining inventory, entering digital photos in EMR, answering phones in a professional manner, understanding and working to maintain office schedule to best serve patients, chaperoning / assisting surgeon with patient visits, assisting other staff as needed, performing dressing changes, drain removal, suture / staple removal under doctor’s supervision.
