Responsibilities for CNA’s & Home Health Aides:
· Provide direct care to residents following the individual resident care plan
· Foster a homelike atmosphere throughout the residence
· Answers call lights in a prompt manner
· Maintains a clean, safe and orderly environment for residents
· Documents medication records and ADL sheets in the resident chart
· Treat each resident with respect and dignity while encouraging independence
Minimum Requirements for CNA’s & Home Health Aides:
· Must be 18 or over.
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Able to communicate effectively.
· Knowledge of medical terminology.
· Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment.
· Ability to exhibit professional behavior and attitudes.
