Safety and Asset Protection Officer – Swing Shift – Edgewood Tahoe Resort – Stateline, NV

Position Summary:

As the Safety and Asset Protection Officer at Edgewood Tahoe, you are a team member and guest service-oriented individual. You provide a safe work environment and protect Edgewood?s assets by patrolling all properties, responding to all types of incidents and assisting and or administering medical care. Provide excellent guest service and enhancing the guests experience is priority. In this position, you will exhibit extreme professionalism, all the while working on the beautiful shores of Lake Tahoe. Essential Functions:

  • Complete required shift reporting, monitors relevant systems, and maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
  • Protect all company assets.
  • Respond to events within the property including medical situations and other guest or team member needs. Could be called upon to defuse guest disturbances.
  • Detect and monitors problems and reports information to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct investigations and gathers evidence as needed.
  • Write and prepares routine paperwork such as team member or guest incident reports in a timely fashion.
  • Provide security for various special events.
  • Patrol property on foot, in assigned motor vehicle, or other specialized vehicle, as outlined in department standard operating procedures, sometimes independently.
  • Support management for any emergency response.
  • Successfully complete or maintain First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
  • Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Qualifications / Special Skills:

  • YOU ARE a seasoned and highly effective professional.
  • Ability to rationalize and present yourself in a calm, collective manner
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficiency in use of computers. Prepare, organize and report data.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification, or EMT certification a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
