The Associate Director, Marketing contributes to the development and execution of marketing plans to maximize the value of AstraZeneca’s next respiratory product launch. This individual is responsible for leading HCP Marketing Strategy and Execution for all non-personal campaigns across HCP and Consumer, and working Brand Leadership to drive brand performance at launch.

  • Develop Launch Consumer and HCP marketing plans and programs; define objectives, strategies, and resources needed to achieve financial and strategic goals.

  • Lead the Marketing Non-Personal Strategy across customer segments

  • Management of budget and agency partner relationships

  • Demonstrate ability to think strategically for impactful results

  • Establish strong alliance with all internal and external partners to create omni-channel experiences across all platforms.

  • Build program key performance indicator goals and measurement plan

  • Lead all Media planning and budget for HCP and Consumer campaigns

  • Lead project management of all tactical promotional activity for non-personal, including social, channels, including regulatory management and review of assets

  • Ability to clearly communicate brand vision with passion and authenticity to marketing and cross functional teams

  • Collaborate and lead without authority across functional areas; coordinate people, activities, communication & resources around a common goal and to achieve business objectives in a timely manner

  • Build sustainable, long-term relationships with thought leader advocates and customer advocacy groups

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in business, marketing or the sciences

  • 5 years of Pharmaceutical or Healthcare experience; preferably in a related industry

  • 5 years of Experience in Marketing, Experience in Product Launch Planning

  • Experience managing complex projects at the project management level

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to assess and get results

  • Successful project management experience with the ability to work with cross functional partners
