Part Time or Full Time (12-32 hours/week) Days/Evenings/Nights, weekend rotation
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Listed on state of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry required. Previous nursing assistant experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Responsible for patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Obtains vital signs.
- Passes and picks up trays.
- Collects patient data.
- Reinforces basic patient/family teaching.
- Transports patients/equipment and runs errands.
- Collects specimens, performs phlebotomy and EKGs.
- Answers call lights.
- Operates and cleans equipment.
- Completes documentation in real time.
- Performs diagnostic testing.
- Assists with the organization of patient rooms including emptying of garbage, stocking linens and other supplies.
