We are currently seeking a motivated Patient Scheduling Team Representative (PSTR) in Locust, NC to join our growing team!


Job Summary:

The Patient Scheduling Representative (PSTR) provides scheduling as well as customer service support to multiple offices as a full operational extension of the front desk. Ownership of this position delivers the high standard of customer service necessary to maintain the overall Patient Experience while adhering to our Mission and Core Values.


Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of dental appointment scheduling to support and maximize clinical functionality.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification, breakdowns, frequencies and limitations.
  • Knowledge of Eaglesoft and /or other comparable dental clinical software to perform various functions throughout the scheduling process.
  • Ability to operate a multi-line phone system.
  • Ability to trouble shoot basic IT issues.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED certificate.
  • At least two years of call center or front desk experience.
  • HIPPA Certified.

  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial, ethnic and professional backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of dental software.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • The ability to effectively work as a team member, function independently, exercise sound judgment and initiative, be flexible to shift priorities, maintain patient confidentiality and establish and maintain effective interpersonal work relationships is required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
