The incumbent works closely with the physician in the practice/center clinical setting, assists with direct patient care, and serves as the clinical liaison between physician and patient and between physician and the office staff. The incumbent is responsible for promoting communication among all care providers, patients, and office staff regarding the care plan for the patient as defined by the attending physician. This individual attends to patients utilizing the age appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages according to the practice specialty.
- Graduate of a medical assistant program (or) One year as a Medical Assistant
- One year as a Medical Assistant
- Certified Medical Assistant –
