Librarian- Instruction & Research – Citrus County Board of County Commissioners – Lecanto, FL

This position is professional library work responsible for the instruction, research and customer service in a public library.

The work schedule for the position will be varied hours Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm; 40 hours per week. Must be available to work some evenings and Saturdays.

The primary work location is at the Central Ridge Library, must be willing to work at various branch locations when needed.

Salary Disclosure:
Starting Rate : $17.27 per hour plus benefit and retirement options
Salary range: $17.27 to $24.92 per hour
Pay Grade:110

Summary of Benefits:

Citrus County Board of County Commissioners provides a comprehensive benefit package. Employees are eligible to participate in the County’s insurance plans if they are working a minimum of 30 hours per week in a benefit-eligible position. Coverage will become effective the first of the month following a 30 day waiting period. For example, an employee hired on April 10, the effective date of coverage will be on June 1.

Paid Holidays

  • Five (5) to Ten (10) years of service: 120 hours annually= Three weeks
