Aaidebook is looking for HHA with home health experience located in Queens/Long Island, New York . The Home Health Aide provides patients with assistance in activities in daily living in their homes following a skilled nurse’s plan.

Responsibilities:
- Home Health Aide addresses the needs related to disabilities, disease, and mental impairment
- Help with baths and dresses, maintaining good personal hygiene
- Takes care of household chores related to a safe and comfortable environment, and prepares meals regarding nutritious meals, when instructed to do so by the nurse
- Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities, and timing, and work under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation
- HHA is not responsible under any circumstances to administer any intravenous procedures or any invasive procedures, other than rectal temperatures
- Provides emotional, and physiological support to the patient, and other members of the household
- Assists the patient with ambulation, as ordered by the physician, and approved and supervised by the nurse
- Assists the therapy personnel, as needed, with rehabilitative processes
- Communicate to supervisors any change in the patient’s condition or the home situation
- Attends in-service, as required by regulation
