Sherrie’s In-Home Care is currently hiring CNA’s or those with a considerable amount of experience in a Home Care setting or as a residential aide. This is a Home Care position.
Some examples of duties but not limited to are:
- Assisting with daily living needs such as companionship, conversation, house keeping, meal planning and preparation, and other household duties
- Personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming and restroom assistance
- Occasional lifting depending on client
- Transporting client to appointments and errands as needed
- Medication and appointment reminders
Requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- High school/GED education
- Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred and required for some of our clients, however we also hire home health aide’s with experience for those that do not require as much hands on assistance
- We require a clean criminal background check; no larceny or felonies
- You must be able to pass a drug test and TB test
- Transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Able to read and write in English and provide written documentation about client
- Ability to lift up to 25+ lbs
- Ability to sit/stand/bend
- Dependable and friendly attitude
- Have compassion and respect for the elderly
Other information about being a Caregiver with us:
- CNA’S start at $9.50/HR and In-Home Aide’s with experience usually start between $9.00-$9.25/HR
- Pay is weekly every Friday
- Paid orientation
