JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sr. Designer will develop and deliver projects from conception to construction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project design leadership and manages the design development of specific projects
- Plans and executes the presentation of project designs in graphic form.
- Coordination with principal’s, clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and employees.
- Overseeing the project design and ensuring that the designs fit with the client’s expectations
- Selecting all furnishings and finishes for approval by the principal-in-charge
- Maintaining the project’s overall design direction and aesthetic
- Managing the delivery of the project, schedule, and budget
- Managing and training/mentoring design staff
- Overseeing installation and contract administration
- Prepares correspondence, memoranda, reports, etc.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years minimum experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Thorough knowledge in AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop, Revit, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch-Up, Autodesk 3D, and InDesign are a plus.
- Should have the ability to travel 10-20%.
- Must have a strong verbal and written communication skills.
- NCIDQ certification.
- Detailed oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
- A team player with the ability to supervise creative and administrative talent.
