Part time (3 days/week plus fill ins for other employees’ time off) Certified medical assistant wanted for our busy, friendly pediatric office in Avon, CT. Weekday hours: 8:45 AM-5:00 PM. Pediatric experience preferred. Clinical job duties include: bringing patients in to exam rooms, vitals, patient flow, vision and hearing screens, strep and flu tests, UA, fingerstick hgb and lead tests, monitoring and ordering medical supplies/vaccines, multi-tasking. In addition, the job requires front office receptionist skills such as strong basic clerical and computer skills, customer service, checking patients in and out, collecting copays and prior balances, answering phones, taking messages, scheduling appointments, etc.
