Maintenance Technician – Paris Companies – DuBois, PA

Paris Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Corporate Location in DuBois, PA. This position is responsible for performing all repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventative maintenance tasks on laundry and boiler room equipment.

Duties include for industrial maintenance to repair, modify or make new parts for any mechanical equipment. Must be able to visually analyze blueprints, shop drawings and work out mathematical problems pertaining to each trade. Experience in mechanical, welding, carpentry, plumbing, pneumatics, steam and hydraulics required. Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment. Strong background in industrial commercial 3-phase wiring including reading electrical blueprints and repair and troubleshooting for control wiring. Experience with HVAC, high-pressure steam boilers, use of a forklift and the rigging of production equipment.

In addition, this position will travel to our various company locations in PA (Williamsport, Bradford, Harrisburg), OH (Ravenna) and other locations as required.

Requirements include math, reading, writing, and computer skills, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, steam, hydraulics and welding skills, good attendance record, lift up to 150 pounds, with repetitive stooping, forward bending and crouching, manual dexterity required. Must be able to work independently and in adverse weather conditions

Valid driver’s license, ability to get the DOT medical card and computer literacy are also required.
