Large independent gastroenterology practice in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina is seeking a Patient Access Representative/Medical Records Specialist for our Hendersonville office. This individual will be cross-trained in both the Check in/Check out position as well as Medical Records. Successful candidate will have 2-3 years of recent medical office experience with medical records, checking patients in or out, collecting co-pays, scheduling patient appointments, experience with EMR systems, and general billing knowledge including familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes and experience with posting charges. Candidates will be expected to exhibit excellent communication and people skills.
