We are an extremely busy surgical practice. We are seeking an LPN who has a minimum prior experience of one year in wound care, minor surgery procedures, and electronic health record charting. This is high volume and fast paced environment with multiple physicians. Our nursing staff assists the physicians with office procedures. The clinical team makes independent assessments and reports these to the appropriate surgeon. This position also requires travel on Friday mornings to our Sarasota location (near Doctors Hospital) prior to coming to our primary office.
Skills
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Experience in Wound Care and/or assisting with minor surgical procedures
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Good knowledge of MS Office, data entry, and prior Electronic Health Record utilization
- Perfect physical condition and stamina
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in working one on one with a physician
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Successful completion of LPN license program is a must

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
