Average Annual Salary: $75,000 depending on experience (after training)
Guarantee Pay: $52,000 annual
Training Pay: 2-4 weeks @ $21.11/hr
Sign On Bonus offered based on relevant delivery experience (grocery, foodservice, or beverage):
3 years of delivery experience = $7500
2 years of delivery experience = $5000
0-1 year of delivery experience = $2500
ABOUT THE JOB:
As a McLane Driver, you are the face of our company to our customers. You are the person they see week after week; developing strong relationships that create value and trust with our customers. The variety of tasks you will perform on each route helps you stay engaged with the work. Great customer service skills are a plus.
- Operate a tractor trailer to deliver products to customer sites.
- Unload trailer by using a dolly and ramp, placing all products in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
- 90% of deliveries are key drops, so no wait time to be checked in by store manager
- Ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
Work Schedules: After training, most newly hired drivers are able to get a set bid right away. All routes have a helper or a second driver and return home every day.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A).
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience.
- Meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
- Lift and move product and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
Candidates must pass a background check, DOT physical, and drug screen.
