Must have a MINIMUM of 12 months of professional caregiver experience with an established healthcare COMPANY.
Come work as many or as few hours as you want for BrightStar Care, an independently owned and operated home care agency caring for patients in their home. Our service area includes South Sarasota, Nokomis, Osprey, Venice, North Port, Englewood, Port Charlotte, Punt Gorda, Arcadia Area (you choose the areas you want/can work in).
Responsibilities: **
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living
- Provide client care according to approved nursing Plan of Care
- Provide transportation to medical appointments, activities, shopping, etc (if necessary)
- Assist in providing a safe environment for client.
- Follow documentation and record keeping requirements.
- Follow principles of infection control and Universal Precautions
- Adhere to client’s rights
- Treat client, family, and staff with courtesy and respect.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 MONTHS of documented CAREGIVER experience with a healthcare company (NOT less than 12 months experience)
- High school diploma or GED
- Have the ability to work with minimal DIRECT supervision
- Current CPR certification (BrightStar can assist with recertification if necessary)
- Licensed driver with an insured automobile
- Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
