We are currently seeking Commercial Lighting Technicians to become an integral part of our team! You will relamp, or retrofit, commercial lighting fixtures at big-box retailers throughout the southeastern US. We are seeking both crew foremen and technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct/Supervise the replacement of fluorescent and HID lighting components, and/or fixtures, with LED technology
- Conduct pre-installation site surveys of existing lighting systems
- Coordinate work with store personnel
- Work with project managers and store managers to ensure smooth installations with minimal impact on store operations
- Act as G.C. for jobs involving multiple contractors
Qualifications:
- Licensed journeymen preferred
- Previous experience in commercial lighting and electrical repairs
- Strong organizational and customer-service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn and implement the latest in mobile work order management platforms
- Ability to travel and work nights…jobs are both proactive and reactive
- Clean background and driving records
- Candidates should posses hand tools.
