Water Operations Manager – City of Encinitas – Encinitas, CA

The Water Operations Manager under general direction, is responsible for planning and monitoring the daily operations, maintenance, repair, and construction of the pipeline system and structures of the San Dieguito Water District (SDWD) distribution system, a division of the Public Works Department.

Bachelor’s Degree in Public or Business Administration, Water Technology, Engineering or a related field, plus five years progressively responsible experience in the operation of domestic water supply, treatment and distribution facilities which includes supervisory experience.

Required Certificates:

• Grade 3 State Water Resources Control Board Water Distribution Operator Certificate
• Grade 2 State Water Resources Control Board Water Treatment Operator Certificate
