Performs centralized scheduling for diagnostic Imaging Services. Obtains demographic and medical information to ensure appropriate patient care. Obtains insurance information and required exam authorization to ensure maximum technical and professional component reimbursement.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School graduate.
2. Two years medical office experience
3. Working knowledge and operation of computer
4. Working knowledge of medical terminology
5. Working knowledge of exams performed in Diagnostic Imaging and EEG departments
6. Working knowledge of insurance Terminology for all lines of business.
7. Working knowledge of Collection for patient liabilities.
