A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PLUMBING HELPER / PARTS RUNNER
As a Plumbing Helper / Parts Runner, you get to assist our plumbers out in the field and are part of the backbone that they depend on to support their work. As you help them, they mentor you on everything from how to talk with customers to how to properly install plumbing systems. Eager to help and learn, you also complete pickups, handle returns, and run errands. Our plumbers appreciate that they can depend on you to ensure that they have what they need when they need it. You are grateful to have a good job that is also giving you an introduction to an essential skilled trade!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL PLUMBING HELPER / PARTS RUNNER
- 18 years old or older
- Mechanical aptitude
- Successful work experience in a general labor job OR some trade classes
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to effectively navigate Northern Virginia roads
- Physical ability to lift or manipulate heavy equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Interest in pursuing a long-term career in a skilled trade

WORK SCHEDULE
