We are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician/Manufacturing Mechanic.

The general purpose of the Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance Technician is to provide excellent customer service to the operations team by providing maintenance and repairs to facility and manufacturing equipment while experiencing minimum downtime to production. All activities performed should follow Rudolph Foods Mission, Vision, Core Values and high standards in quality, safety and applicable laws and regulations. We are looking for someone who can combine their passion and talent for troubleshooting and fixing things and wanting to continuously learn new mechanical and electrical skills. This requires the incumbent to have a positive attitude, be adaptive to change and be an excellent communicator. This position will consist of daily and weekend overtime.

The essential duties include but are not limited to:

Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks
*
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment errors whether it be mechanical or with PLC
*
Do all repairs necessary
*
Fill out completed work orders
*
Follow all Food safety and employee safety policies for the protection of you the employee, customers and consumers.
*
Organize and clean-up work station
*
And any other duties assigned by Supervisor

Safety responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*
Lock Out Tag Out
*
Get Hot work permits when welding, cutting, grinding or anything that would require a hot work permit
*
Follow all Food Safety regulations
*
Wear hearing protection in all areas of the plant
*
Follow all common employee safety practices

Education and/or Experience:
*
Two years certificate from college or technical school; or two years documented industrial maintenance experience. Previous experience in food manufacturing environment is plus, especially with packaging equipment.

High School Diploma or GED mandatory
*
Education or training on electrical safety, including PLC troubleshooting
*
Basic Computer skills
*
Commit to follow safe work practices including OSHA safety standards as they apply to Maintenance personnel
