AMPP Manufacturing Manager 3 – Los Alamos National Laboratory – Los Alamos, NM

What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements:

Management: Experience in managing people and/or projects, including planning, organizing, and resource management, as well as demonstrated experience creating work scope, schedules, budgets, coordinating work activities, and tracking progress.

Development: Demonstrated experience with financial stewardship. Demonstrated experience in identification of resource requirements and development of schedules. Demonstrated experience in the ability to effectively supervise, negotiate, conduct conflict resolution, mentor, and conduct personnel development.

Communication: Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills as evidenced by internal and/or external interactions, seminars, briefings, presentations, and publications; effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of personnel and customers. Demonstrated communication of technical issues and solutions to employees, peers and upper management.

Safety/Compliance: Demonstrated experience performing work in a manufacturing environment and executing work in compliance with safety and facility requirements while maintaining a rigorous formality of operations.

E ducation/Experience : Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution and 5 years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation. DOE Order 426.2requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4 years nuclear experience

Desired Qualifications:

Nuclear Experience: Experience with nuclear high hazard facility operating requirements, safety authorization basis and/or Conduct of Operations planning and execution of work.

Diverse Team Experience: Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team of technicians, engineers, scientists, and professional staff.

Clearance: DOE Q Clearance and HRP Certification highly desirable
