Seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor/Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team of professionals at the Virginia Center for Addiction Medicine who are providing outpatient treatment to persons with substance use disorders as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary treatment team. The LPC/LCSW will participate in program development, provide individual therapy as well as with families and/or group therapy sessions, facilitate educational programs, and provide leadership within the clinical care team.
Position Qualifications:
· Licensed in the state of Virginia as an LPC/LCSW or CSAC
· Ability to provide timely and accurate documentation through an electronic health record
· Proficient with Windows, Outlook, internet research, MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Familiarity with multi-modal pathways to recovery (abstinence, harm reduction, 12-step, SMART, etc.)
· Trauma-informed approach and collaboration with other professions a must
· Background check required
· Certification to provide licensure supervision preferred, but not required
· Full-time and part-time available; some may require evenings or weekends.
