Who we’re looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) that:
- Prioritizes safety above all else
- Create an environment of care, making patients feel comfortable & relaxed during collection
- Outgoing and loves to connect with the patients they support
- Detail oriented and meticulous about sanitation
- Expert in clinical best practices and specimen collection & preparation
- Successfully work independently to produce high quality samples ready for lab testing
- Hyper focused on creating an amazing experience for patients during their visit
- Recent of current experience at a large health system, big lab, or physician’s office
- Completed hundreds of nasal swab collections
Standout candidates will:
- Experience with mobile care & specimen collection
- Enjoy being on the road and having a flexible schedule
- Be fluent in Spanish, Mandarin, and/or Farsi
- Have 2+ years in mobile care services
- Have 2+ years in specimen collection
- Be experienced in pediatric & geriatric patients
- Current RN, CNS, or other nursing professional
- Amazing at Google Maps & navigating through traffic in the local LA County area
- Believe their calling in life is to provide amazing clinical care to patients
What you’ll be doing:
- Performing blood draws according to clinical best practices
- Visiting patients at home or their office
- Confirming patient information and lab orders
- Creating a safe & sterile environment with the use of PPE and other standards
- Labeling and temp storing specimens collected
- Handling samples from patient’s visit location to drop off point
- Comply with standard clinical best practices and additional safety requirements set by CA for COVID-19
- Setting your availability & schedule
