We are in search of a stellar individual who would like join our surgical team as a surgical assistant. As a surgical assistant you will partner with our oral surgeon to optimize surgical performance and deliver exceptional patient care.
Some of the duties you can expect from this position, but not limited to;
- assisting the surgeon with general anesthesia and IV sedation,
- giving patients pre-op and post-op instructions,
- providing diagnostic information through x-rays,
- taking dental impressions,
- maintain patient’s vital statistics and intravenous fluids during surgery, and
- sterilization of instruments
Dental experience is required,
Computer skills needed, X-ray certification is preferred.
