Janitor – ACE Hardware – West Jefferson, OH

• As a Janitor you will be an essential part in making Ace the most helpful hardware store on the planet! It’s not glamorous, but we need you! Our busy season is here and we need a variety of warehouse team members.

  All of our stores are locally owned and operated by great retailers. Our warehouse serves more than 400 Ace Hardware business owners in communities throughout the region.

  The employee drives/walk through the entire facility collecting waste/trash, operating compactors & balers, cleans-up all spills, & operates several different types of equipment including scrubbers. Sweep, pick up cardboard, shrink wrap, trash or asked to perform other duties your supervisor or mgr. will request you to perform. This can change at anytime.

  Typical schedule:

  Friday – Sunday 4:30 PM – 5:00 A.M

• Job Requirements

  * All positions require physically demanding tasks.

  * Standing, walking, often continuously.

  * Stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling.

  * Must be able to understand commands and instruction in English

  * Must be able to be on your feet 8-11 hours per day.
