Millennium Toyota is looking for an Account Payable Administrator!

The Accounts Payable Administrator performs a variety of general accounting and clerical support tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable (AP) transactions.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting or Business Administration, one to three years of accounts payable or general accounting experience, and knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting procedures. Knowledge of and experience with the ADP or Reynolds & Reynolds DMS systems is a plus.

We prefer a candidate with at least two years of experience in a position of similar responsibility. We seek someone with a proven track record for success, a self-starter who can communicate well with others and who takes pride in his or her careful and accurate working style. He or she must be detail-oriented and good with numbers and proficient with accounting software and with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

All candidates must pass a background and drug screening. All full time employees are eligible for medical coverage after 90 days of employment.

Compensation will be taken into consideration depending on experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receives all invoices, verifies their accuracy, and inputs them into the computer system
  • Pays all bills in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintains the accounts payable ledger and helps maintain the general ledger
  • Issues timely and complete financial statements
  • Performs other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Finance highly preferred
  • One to three years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Experienced with business applications and accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
  • Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
  • Strong data entry and management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
