Essential Functions:
Coordinate with and respond to Line Supervisors/Operators, repairs, adjusts or corrects mechanical
Inspect, measure, and monitor equipment parts, components, and sub-assemblies for wear, failure, misalignment and maladjustment to determine the need for repair, adjustment or replacement
Use metal working tools and power tools
Assist Management and/or Engineer to establish drawings, sketches, or designs of machine components or sub-assemblies
Install or repair safety equipment/gear
Run equipment to test operation following repair
Communicate to all levels and assist in developing continuous improvement
Reduce lead-time, cost of manufacturing, and scrap rates
The Right Candidate will have:
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical background
Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment
