Busy downtown multi-physician surgical podiatry office is looking for a highly motivated medical assistant to join our team and work in our fast-paced. You are not required to be a certified medical assistant, but some experience is preferred.
We are looking for a self-starter, someone who is reliable, a team player, dependable, and has excellent communication skills. Being outgoing and bubbly are essential qualities for working as a medical assistant. We need someone who can adapt to change and deal with the daily load of this busy clinic. Our staff will be highly competent, friendly, and strive to provide the best care possible to our patients.
Job Duties:
- Room and interview patients
- Manage electronic medical records and patient notes
- Assist with office procedures
- Stock exam rooms and prepare injections daily
- Send electronic prescriptions
- Take digital x-rays of the foot and ankle
- Laser Treatments and Sudacans
- Clean exam rooms after each patient
- Weekly inventory and ordering products for the clinic
- Perform various hands-on tasks with patients and assist physician with tasks in the exam room
- Assist patients over the phone with questions they have
- Miscellaneous duties that arise throughout the day
- Provide overall support for our physicians and other office staff

Qualifications:
While you do not need to be certified as a medical assistant, these experiences preferred. You will be considered a strong candidate with the following:
- Hands-on patient experience
- Medical office experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 – $16.00 per hour
