PSYCHIATRIST FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS – Collaborative Psychiatric Associates – Harleysville, PA

Collaborative Psychiatric Associates, PC consists of 4 outpatient community focused clinical practices: Collaborative Care of Abington, Harleysville, Bala and Willow Grove, a mobile Collaborative Care Program that serves the mental health needs through integration or collaboration with 17 CPC+ participating Primary Care Practices.

We treat all in treating all ages, and work to provide direct mental health treatment with psychiatric medication, functional psychiatry, psychotherapy and groups. We work with individuals, couples and families to restore a balance through holistic care planning and therapies that teach adaption to the challenges of dysfunction and illness.

We are currently seeking Psychiatrist to treat Children and Adults. Full-time hours are preferred, and there is opportunity for development into a Medical Director position for the right Psychiatrist.

Specific duties of a Psychiatrist include:

· Evaluating patients referred from other practitioners

· Prescribing psychotropic medication as needed

· Re-evaluating medication efficacy at regular intervals

· Providing emergency psychiatric care as required (minimal need)

· Documenting services in an electronic medical record

· Supervising psychiatric nurse practitioners

· Performing other duties as assigned

Collaborative Care offers a fully array of behavioral health services, including individual, family, and group psychotherapy, and psychiatric medication management. Our integrated behavioral health model allows for seamless collaboration between primary care practices and other medical offices, creating a consistent influx of referrals. Our proven approach to behavioral health treatment has allowed us to expand into 4 locations across Montgomery County, PA.
