Receptionist – Highgate at Vancouver – Vancouver, WA

Being our Receptionist is more than answering calls, delivering messages, responding to requests, distributing mail, coordinating services or activities, conducting tours and tidying up. In this role, you are the outward-facing representation of everything Highgate stands for: compassion, integrity, knowledge, devotion, energy, professionalism. It will be your job to ensure the highest quality of service is provided to residents, family members, friends and associates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 18+ years of age
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in typing, 10-key and data entry
  • Organized and efficient; excellent time management skills
  • Superior multi-tasking abilities and effective problem-solving skills
  • Mature and friendly personality; neat in appearance
  • Current (or obtain) CPR and First Aid certification
  • Current TB test
  • Possession of/or ability to obtain Food Handler’s Permit within thirty (30) days of hire – if required
  • Proof of the ability to work in the US (I-9 form) within (3) days of hire (required); adhering to renewal documentation regulations—if required ?
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds with assistance
  • Walking, sitting, bending, twisting and lifting throughout the day
  • Ability to complete training/certifications within prescribed time frames by ?supervisor
  • Health screening and fingerprinting (California only)
  • Negative criminal record/background statement
  • Meet all criteria as required by state and local licensing agencies
  • Valid driver’s license; acceptable driving record
  • Ability to comply with Highgate’s Team Member handbook, policies and procedures
