Sales Coordinator – Delivery Express, INC – Tukwila, WA

Position Summary:

Working directly with the Sales Manager, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team in retaining and growing Delivery Express’ Courier, Warehouse and Transportation business by performing research to generate leads, responding to inbound sales requests, making outbound, follow-up calls, serving as a customer advocate and using product knowledge to create solutions that meet customer’s needs and business objectives. This role requires a highly motivated individual who is comfortable working within a dynamic environment, has strong organization skills and is a strong multi-tasker.

This is a full-time position primarily based out of our Tukwila office. Must be able to work remotely 2-3 days per week and have a dedicated space to work and meet the work from home criteria. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform research to generate leads and work to build relationships with key decision makers
  • Receive incoming calls for information and pricing, provide support for RFP responses, submit rate requests, and monitor progress for customers as required
  • Follow-up on leads through outbound calling and email contact
  • Support a smooth sales process from first contact through close of sale
  • Understand customer business models, operating structures, and strategic objectives, and offer logistics solutions that maximize profitability and meet strategic goals
  • Educate customers on Delivery Express’ service offerings and answers any questions
  • Coordinate opportunities and strategies with other team members

Qualifications:

  • Experience qualifying leads by soliciting information from customers through a variety of questioning and probing techniques
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of our organization
  • A team player who can communicate to customers, co-workers, and management in a professional, courteous manner
  • Proficiency using computers and business software applications (MS Office, CRM)
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and under deadlines
  • Ability to use logic and problem-solving skills to resolve issues
  • Strong organization skills with exceptional attention to detail
