Nutrition for Longevity is a Home Delivery Meal Kitting Company developed from and backed by the science of The Longevity Diet™. Our meals are inspired by the Centenarian Hot Spots of the world and harvested from our own farm and shipped within 48 hours to ensure super fresh, phytonutrient-rich and nutrient dense meals to our customers. We focus on quality and safety of our food and have our own regenerative farm in Long Valley NJ with warehousing in Hackettstown, NJ.
We are looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial-spirited Registered Dietitian to work with our team. The ideal candidate takes initiative, has great time management, is a proactive communicator, and has the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
This position is focused on nutrition counseling for our various medically tailored programs housed in an online platform. This position will collaborate with our Dietitian Team on MNT/ medically tailored programs, lifestyle programs and other initiatives as selected by our CEO. This also includes creating education materials, outlining and designing programs as well as assisting in other areas as the team needs.
Experience/Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree, required
- 1 year of Registered Dietitian (RD) status, required
- 1+ year of nutrition counseling experience, preferred
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong self-awareness and problem solving skills
- Specialty in AND Certification (CDE, CSG, CSO, CSOWM, and/or CSR), preferred
- ACLM Certification, preferred
- Bilingual, preferred
Core Tasks/Duties:
- Provide 1 on 1 Nutrition Counseling to clients and participants
- Maintain and develop relationships and satisfaction of clients/participants for nutrition assessments and care plans.
- Manage and promotes medically tailored and lifestyle programs according to Nutrition for Longevity standards and policy.
- Develop programs, modules, education materials as indicated
- Ensure compliance with all regulations as well as potential partner’s policies and procedures (e.g. HIPPA/Privacy Act)
- Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Aptitude for multi-tasking.
- Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.
- Support new product launches
- Stay current with most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.
Working Conditions (may adjust as indicated by COVID-19 state regulations):
- Generally, in an indoor setting, however, may participate in events outside of primary location when restrictions are lifted
- May include a varying schedule to include evenings, weekends, and/or extended hours as business dictates or as needed
- Wears protective clothing and/or Personal Protective Equipment required by the work environment or governmental regulations
- Willingness to assist in execution of business operations, as needed
