POSITION SUMMARY:
Facilitates the patient access into the imaging center by providing effective, efficient registration process by securing the appropriate demographic and third party information for patient registrations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Obtains required patient information with 100% accuracy from patient, physician, and/or physician staff, at time of registration.
• 
  Ensures charts are completed and accurate
• 
  Verify all insurance and obtain precertification/authorization
• 
  Calculate and collect patient liable amounts
• 
  Ensure that all necessary signatures are obtained for treatments
• 
  Demonstrates Customer Service principles and behaviors appropriately.
• 
  Regular, punctual and dependable attendance.
• 
  Other duties as assigned.
