Healthcare Recruiting Manager

Job Description

It will be the role of the Healthcare Recruiting Manager to provide general oversight and guidance to the recruitment team, with the goal of enhancing performance, driving individual profitability, and maintaining team cohesion.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide on-the-job training, coaching, daily oversight of production, and monitoring of activities
  • Set individual goals with recruiters and clarifying expectations
  • Set and maintain production metrics (calls, external submittals and placements)
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss successes and address areas of improvement
  • Assign each team member daily job priorities
  • Serve as a point of escalation for team member issues
  • Provide ongoing training for new recruiters by assisting with RN candidate screening, development of search strings, and priority management
  • Evaluate metrics and forecasting for month end/quarter end
  • Lead by example by producing at or above same metric levels through the recruitment of Registered Nurses.
  • Provide team feedback, metrics, and progress reports to the Management Team
  • Assist in interviewing new internal candidates and make hiring and termination recommendations to the Managing Director
  • Maintain and uphold professionalism within the team

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of progressive experience in a recruiting or staffing agency. RN staffing experience is strongly preferred
  • Must have 2+ years of healthcare staffing management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and management of a recruitment team
  • Knowledge and understanding of commission structures and recruiting metrics
